Quantitative Finance Sub-committee

As a subcommittee of NUS math society, NUS Quantitative Finance (QF) Club is a

young student body founded in 2007 by a group of financial mathematics enthusiasts.

Today, it has developed into a club for students to acquire quantitative finance knowledge

and to expose themselves to real-world financial issues. As the executive committee

of the club, we promote learning in investment science and computational finance by

organizing various events such as talks, workshops and visits to financial institutions. We

also organize career talks and junior talks to offer new students valuable opportunities of

having face-to-face communications with industry professionals and seniors majoring in

QF. On top of that, we are extremely committed to organizing an overseas financial trip

each year to give our students the exposure and experiences which could never be taught

in lecture theatres.
